Donate to the Academy |

The Iowa Academy of Science is a 501(c)3 non-profit. Donations to the Academy are tax deductable. Donations may be submitted to: Iowa Academy of Science, 175 Baker Hall, Cedar Falls, Iowa 50614-0508. Checks should be written to the Iowa Academy of Science. Donors receive a receipt for their tax records. Donations are accepted for all of the categories below or contact the IAS Executive Director for information about starting a scholarship or other special fund.
Donation Categories
- General Fund (let IAS put your money where it is needed most)
- office equipment, office assistance, postage, printing , paper
- Benchmark Fund
- IAS uses these funds for long-term fund development
- Science Endowment
- Established as an endowment for the future of the Academy, the interest generated by the Science Endowment is used to supplement IAS general operating funds
- Annual Meeting Speaker Fund (Any amount)
- Sponsor a speaker's fees, travel, or lodging
- Iowa Junior Academy of Science Programs
- STARS Manual publication, Student research grants, OSSA, AAAS Delegate travel/registration, Annual Meeting Awards, Scholarships
- Memorials/Future Gifts
- Contact the Executive Director for more information on these options
- Create your own science scholarship fund (minimum donation of $25K)

Affiliated with the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA), the American Junior Academy of Sciences (AJAS), the National Association of Biology teachers (NABT), the Iowa Space Grant Consortium (ISGC) and the Iowa Mathematics and Science Coalition (IMSC).
